Tyrol is known far beyond its borders for almost limitless winter vacation fun. In addition to numerous ski resorts at different altitudes with different highlights, Tyrol and especially the Pitztal offers many other vacation activities that you should not miss.
Ski resorts
from A to Z
Tyrol has several ski resorts that are known as popular training locations for ski stars such as our local Olympic champion and multiple world champion Benjamin Reich. Most of these ski resorts are located in our beautiful Pitztal valley.
The free ski bus will take you daily to the ski area of your choice. At the valley station of the Hochzeiger, we can also offer you a free ski depot. Alternatively, you can store your equipment in our own ski cellar.
If you want even more variety, you will find it in the neighboring valley. The Ötztal also features many impressive ski areas.
Embark on your own personal winter adventures and enjoy every minute of your winter vacation.
Kids in the snow
Family-friendly ski resorts
The entire Pitztal valley features extremely family-friendly ski areas. Child-safe lifts, competent children’s ski schools with trained professionals and daycare centers are just some of the special services.
A highlight for children is definitely the snow playground club at Hochzeiger. The club is aimed specifically at children between 6 and 9 years. In the morning there is a 1.5-hour ski course. In the afternoon there is a varied program, including making a snowman, snow disk sledding, snowshoeing, igloo building, and ski racing.
Tobogganing
at maximum speed
Families always have enormous fun on an adventurous toboggan run. Throughout Pitztal there are numerous shorter and longer toboggan runs. Some of the tracks are even lit at night on some days, so you can enjoy a unique descent under the beautiful starry sky.
