Carnival in Tyrol
Perhaps you have heard of the carnivals in the Tyrolean Oberland. Every three to four years, a carnival procession takes place in various towns to drive out winter and welcome spring. If you miss the dates, you can visit the individual carnival museums in the area and learn more about the customs there.
